Patients determine the body mass index, identify the number of falls in the last 12 months, determine the level of fatigue in points, using the international validated fatigue scale Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy with the subsequent summation of scores. Determine the concentration of C-reactive protein in serum and calculate the likelihood of diagnosing sarcopenia using a mathematical formula. Depending on the value obtained, sarcopenia is diagnosed in elderly and senile individuals.

EFFECT: method allows to diagnose sarcopenia in elderly and senile individuals by determining significant prognostic indicators.
