FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for the quantitative determination of the amount of flavonoids in the gratiole herb, involving extraction of raw materials with ethyl alcohol in concentration of 70%, with subsequent determination of the sum of flavonoids by differential spectrophotometry at analytical wavelength 398 nm by complexation reaction for 40 minutes with 5% alcohol solution of aluminium chloride in terms of luteolin-7-glucoside, wherein for the complexation reaction, the ratio of the volumes of extraction from the raw material of the gratiole herb to 5% alcohol solution of aluminium chloride is 1:2, to obtain an aqueous-alcoholic extract from gratiole herb, extraction is carried out in a boiling water bath for 60 minutes, the raw material is preliminarily prepared by grinding gratiole herb to 2 mm, when using 100 ml of ethyl alcohol in concentration of 70% per 1 g of the raw material weighed amount, the content of the sum of flavonoids in terms of luteolin-7-glucoside and absolutely dry raw material is calculated.

EFFECT: invention provides the development of a method for quantitative determination of the sum of flavonoids in the gratiole herb, having high specificity and accuracy due to processing of multidimensional spectral data.
