FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for washing cryopreserved mesenchymal stromal cells. Method is characterized by that the cryopreserved bioproduct is defrosted in a cryotube from minus 196 °C to plus 38 °C with further transfer of the contents into a sterile centrifugal test tube under sterile conditions with addition of a washing solution in the following ratios of components: solution of 6% polyglucin and 10% albumin in ratio of 1:4 and a ratio of decryopreserved cells to solution of 1:4, followed by single centrifugation for 10 minutes at 1,000 rpm with removal of supernatant and resuspension of cells in solution of 6% polyglucin in ratio 1:1.

EFFECT: method described above enables to reduce the side effect of DSMO by reducing the concentration of the cryoprotectant in the defrosted bioproduct.
