SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to clinical transfusiology, and in particular to a method for reducing the toxicity of a cryopreservation solution. A method for reducing the toxicity of a cryopreserved solution based on dimethyl sulfoxide includes defrosting hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) followed by adding into the suspension a solution containing 6% polyglucin with a molecular weight of 50,000-60,000 daltons and 10% albumin in a ratio of 1:4, when the ratio of decryopreserved cells to the solution is 1:4, then centrifugation is carried out at 2000 g for 6 minutes, the supernatant is removed and the cells are resuspended in the above washing solution in a 1:1 V/V ratio.

EFFECT: above method makes it possible to minimize the content of the cryopreservative in the transplant product before administration to the patient, and also increases efficiency of the transplantation of washed HSCs and timely engraftment of the graft in the recipient.
