FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: essence of the method consists in the fact that acoustic oscillations are excited by a generator connected to the input of a piezoelectric transducer, longitudinal waves at resonance frequency are formed by piezoelectric converter, when scanning space with a sensor along two axes, a decrease in the phase difference of the sequence of vector product values, the transition through zero, jump on π in variations of variable component of phase difference caused by Coriolis force in vector product and corresponding to extremum of directional pattern, from which the meridian plane and the direction to the geographic pole lying in this plane are determined, and the latitude of the place is determined as the angle between the plumb line lying in this plane and the axis of rotation of the Earth. Essence of the device consists in the fact that the oscillation exciting generator is connected to the input of the piezoelectric transducer, the outputs of which are connected to the analyser; wherein fluid is used as resonator medium.
EFFECT: possibility of autonomous determination of mobile object location.
