FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine noise suppressors, primarily, to ICE. Vehicle noise silencer comprises an inlet divergent branch pipe and an outlet convergent branch pipe. Inside the branch pipes there installed are perforated plates diverging in the flow direction in the inlet branch pipe and converging in the flow direction in the outlet branch pipe. Between inlet and outlet nozzles there is a straight middle section equipped with perforated plates arranged in rows in direction of flow. At the inlet of the silencer there is a gas flow rate valve controlled by a feedback sensor, which includes a perforated valve channel, which provides for splitting the gas flow into jets in the vertical plane. Cross-section of the valve channel is adjusted by means of an electric drive. One more valve channel with an electric drive regulating its cross section and a feedback sensor is installed at the outlet of the output convergent pipe. At the outlet of the silencer there is an additional branch pipe, which expands in the horizontal plane and narrows in the vertical plane at ratio of 1/3, in which two parallel perforated plates are installed vertically.
EFFECT: vehicle noise silencer is disclosed.
