FIELD: decoding means.

SUBSTANCE: receiving a bit stream, wherein the bit stream contains a current image, and the current image includes a current block having at least a first separation boundary separating the block into first and second non-rectangular regions, and a second separation boundary crossing at least the first separation boundary and dividing the second region for dividing the current block into three parts. A first predictor for use in a first non-rectangular region is determined using a first motion vector selected from a first list of motion vector candidates. Determining a second predictor for use in a second non-rectangular region using a second motion vector, selected from the second list of motion vectors candidates. Current block is decoded using the first predictor and the second predictor, wherein decoding further comprises smoothing said first predictor and second predictor along at least a first separation boundary.

EFFECT: high accuracy of restoring original video.
