FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for quantitative determination of active substances in dosage forms by ultraviolet absorption spectra, characterized by the fact that for quantitative determination of active substances in dosed medicinal preparations consisting of several active substances, first, ultraviolet absorption spectrum is recorded and its combined polynomial coefficients (CPC) are determined at the point of maximum absorption of the component in mono-solutions for each active substance, then graphs of dependences of optimal values of CPC and concentrations of active substances of mono-solutions are plotted and value of CPC for single concentration of drug substance in mono-solution is determined by linear regression equation, further, the ultraviolet absorption spectrum of the drug solution is recorded and the concentration of the drug component is calculated.
EFFECT: invention provides simplified analysis of quantitative composition of medicinal preparations consisting of several active substances.
