SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of separating a liquid hydrocarbon phase and a gaseous hydrocarbon phase, involving the following steps: a. direction of raw material for separation to inlet opening for raw material of separation means, b. directing the stripping medium to the stripping medium inlet of said separation means, removing the liquid product stream from said separation means, removing a gas fraction containing said stripping medium from said agent, cooling and separation by condensation of said gas fraction into a fraction of low-boiling products and a fraction of a stripping medium, direction of said fraction of stripping medium or said gas fraction as recirculated stripping medium, g. compressing at least a certain amount of said recirculated stripping medium and sending it as said stripping medium of step b, wherein said stripping medium contains at least 80 vol.% of gas containing one or more compounds from the group including N₂, He, Ar, Ne and CO₂. Invention also relates to a method of producing a low-boiling product, a fractionation section and a hydrocracker section.

EFFECT: improved quality of separation without increasing the cost of using the stripping medium during separation of hydrocarbons by recycling the stripping medium.
