FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment, in particular to equipment for measuring parameters of multi-element phased antenna arrays (PAA) in the near zone, and can be used for their calibration during development, adjustment and operation. Phased antenna array is calibrated by dividing the antenna fabric with a large number of N elements into subarrays with a smaller number of M elements, in the tested channel of each of which the state of the phase shifter is switched by 180° with subsequent registration of amplitude and phase of radiation field in near zone and mathematical processing of measurement data. At the same time during registration of amplitude-phase distribution of radiation field in near zone the channels of phased antenna array are not switched off.
EFFECT: reduction of time expenditures for calibration and possibility of application of standard procedure of amplitude-phase measurements in the near zone without necessity of modification of used measuring equipment and software.
