FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in production of thin-walled axially symmetric shells from aluminium alloys. Device comprises puncheon and matrix from steel H12F1 with hardness HRC 58÷65. Working part of puncheon is equipped with front conical, cylindrical and rear conical sections. Front conical section is made with angle of 55-60°. Cylindrical section has length of 1.4-1.6 mm, width of 0.13-0.18 mm and a diameter equal to 1.1-1.2 of the diameter of the end face of the puncheon. Rear cone is made with angle of 87-88°. In the central part of the end of the puncheon there is a cross-shaped recess with sides with length of 0.15-0.2 of the diameter of the end of the puncheon, depth of 0.15-0.25 mm, a triangular profile with angle of 90-120°. Matrix is equipped with conical lead-in and cylindrical sections. Conical section is made with angle of 5-10°, with length of 0.5-0.7 of workpiece thickness. Cylindrical section has length making 1.2-1.5 of workpiece thickness.
EFFECT: obtaining shells with high surface quality, increasing wear resistance of the deforming tool and production efficiency.
