FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used in production of thin-walled axially symmetric shells from aluminium alloys by back extrusion. Cut workpieces in the form of circles are subjected to annealing, etching and washing. After washing, the circles are heated to temperature of 70-80 °C. Then it is rolled in the drum of the tumbling device together with “Zinc stearate mixed” lubricant. Reverse extrusion of circles is performed by puncheon in matrix made of steel “Х12Ф1” with hardness of 58-65 HRC. From the beginning to the end of the process of reverse extrusion, part of the metal of the circle is retained in a cross-shaped recess located in the central part of the end face of the punch. Then one performs punching of a hole in the bottom of the obtained workpiece, mechanical treatment and etching.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining shells with high dimensional accuracy and quality of the processed surface and increased wear resistance of the tool.
