FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental determination of time and frequency parameters of interaction of caterpillar propulsor of machines with support surface in real time mode and can be used in synthesis of algorithms for controlling movement of caterpillar machines on terrain. Determination of time and frequency parameters of irregularities of the support base is carried out by an automated system based on measurement of vertical accelerations of average road wheels of both sides of the tracked vehicle, double integration of measurement results. Identification of microroughnesses is carried out in real time taking into account the smoothing ability of the propulsor. Algorithm for processing the measured signals provides their filtering, exclusion of long-period components of signals while maintaining the value of amplitude, frequency and phase of the initial signal with subsequent calculation of characteristics of the microprofile under each side of the machine in form of time and frequency dependences.
EFFECT: determination in real time, taking into account the smoothing ability of the caterpillar propulsor, as well as increased accuracy of measurements with reduced requirements for the level of qualification of the researcher.
