FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine and oncology and can be used for photodynamic therapy of malignant tumors in the experiment. For this purpose, intraperitoneal injection of ozonized saline is performed and two sessions of photodynamic therapy are carried out. Before the first PDT session, 3 procedures of intraperitoneal injection of ozonized physiological solution (OPS) are performed with an ozone concentration in the ozone-oxygen mixture of 400 mcg/l at the rate of 0.5 ml OPS per animal weighing 200±25 g. Interval between the procedures for the injection of OPS is 48 hours. 20 hours after the last procedure of intra-abdominal OPS, 0.3 % solution of a photosensitizer (PS), in particular on the basis of sulfated phthalocyanine hydroxyaluminium, is introduced into three points of a malignant tumor at a rate of 0.3 ml/cm3 of tumor. 6–12 hours after the introduction of the PS, each of the points is irradiated for 10 minutes with a LED laser with a wavelength of 660±10 nm, radiation power density of 100 mW/cm2 and an energy density of 60 J/cm2. Then, 24 hours after the first PDT session, 2 procedures of intraperitoneal injection of OPS are performed with an ozone concentration in the ozone-oxygen mixture of 500 mcg/l at the rate of 0.5 ml per animal weighing 200±25 g, with an interval between the introduction of OPS of 24 hours. Before the second PDT session after the 2nd procedure for the administration of OPS, after 48 hours, 0.3 % PS solution is injected into the tumor at three points of the malignant tumor at the rate of 0.3 ml/cm3 of tumor. 6-12 hours after the introduction of the PS, each of the points is irradiated for 10 minutes with a LED laser with a wavelength of 660±10 nm, radiation power density of 100 mW/cm2 and an energy density of 60 J/cm2. 24 hours after the second PDT session, 3 procedures of intraperitoneal injection of 0.5 ml of OPS are carried out with an ozone concentration in the ozone-oxygen mixture of 200 mcg/l, with an interval between the procedures of OPS introduction of 24 hours.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the efficiency of PDT by optimizing the choice of ozone concentration and the mode of conducting OPS after PDT sessions.
