FIELD: communication technique.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 5G or 6G communication system to support a higher data transfer rate. Method implemented by an intelligent radio access network (RAN) controller (RIC) near real time (RT), for removal of connection between RIC near RT and E2-node, can include receiving an E2 deletion request message from the E2 node to indicate the disconnection of the E2 node via the E2 interface. Transmitting, to E2 node, E2 message with response to delete via E2 interface, wherein the E2 node comprises a distributed unit (DU) of an open radio access network (O-RAN) (O-DU), central unit (CU) in control plane (CP) of O-RAN (O-CU-CP), central unit (CU) in user plane (UP) of O-RAN (O-CU-UP) or base station, which exchanges data with RIC near RT through E2 interface. E2 interface provided for communication between the RIC near RT and the E2 node, supports E2 application layer protocol (AP) (E2AP) for communication over the E2 interface.
