FIELD: methods of localization of accidents.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for localizing the spread of a cloud of chemical contamination in an accident as a result of depressurization of an ammonia tank carried by a motor vehicle. Method of localizing the spread of a cloud of chemical contamination in an accident as a result of depressurisation of a tank with ammonia carried by a vehicle consists in the fact that a convective ascending air flow is created above the accident site by means of two turbojet engines axially symmetrically fixed on a suspended platform of a round shape, which is attached by means of bearing bar to hexacopter accompanying vehicle transporting tank, wherein nozzles of turbojet engines are directed in opposite directions relative to axis of suspended platform, and power supply of starter and electronic control unit of turbojet engines is carried out from on-board network of hexacopter.

EFFECT: faster localization of the contamination cloud in case of accident of the ammonia tank being transported by road.
