SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for prevention of postoperative purulent complications following osteosynthesis. Method includes introduction of antimicrobial composition into wound surface of bone before introduction of implants for osteosynthesis or components of endoprosthesis into medullary canal or bone from syringe they are additionally coated from outside with antimicrobial composition, similarly, an antimicrobial composition is applied on bone fragments and introduced into a medullary canal. Antimicrobial composition contains high-molecular hyaluronic acid in the form of gel, vancomycin, polymyxin B and gramicidin C with the following content of components, wt.%: vancomycin 1.0-1.5, polymyxin B 1.5-2.5, gramicidin C 1.5-2.0, high-molecular hyaluronic acid 96.0-94.0.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables to achieve a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action due to the synergistic effect of the polypeptide antibiotics used, prolongation of the bactericidal action for up to 1.5 months due to the polymer.
