SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry and can be used to produce a protective coating for food products. Biodegradable food film coating contains 0.5 % aqueous solution of agar-agar prepared on water treated with ultrasound for 15-25 minutes. Film coating additionally contains garlic powder and ginger powder.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to increase the product storage life.
