FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopaedics and rehabilitation of patients after surgical reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament of knee joint. Biomechanical examination of walking is carried out by carrying out a functional test, the functional test is carried out in two sessions: the first session – registration is carried out at an arbitrary pace of walking, the second – at a fast pace of walking. Biomechanical study of walking at an arbitrary speed of the person being examined shows the maximum flexion amplitude of the operated knee joint in the period of leg transfer for 30 and more step cycles. Next step is to record biomechanical movements in the operated joint while walking at a fast speed – feasible for the given patient at the moment; the maximum amplitude of joint flexion in the period of leg transfer is obtained. Two amplitudes are analysed and the knee joint readiness to load is diagnosed if its maximum amplitude during walking at a fast speed is greater than during voluntary walking by at least 1 degree, if at fast walking speed the value of the analysed amplitude is less or remains the same as compared to walking with an arbitrary speed, the absence of readiness for the knee joint load is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides postoperative recovery of the knee joint function taking into account the current functional state that allows avoiding the operated joint overload.
