SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemistry and oil refining, particularly to a composition of a depressant additive for diesel fuel and diesel fuel containing said additive. Disclosed is a depressant additive for diesel fuels, which includes: 15-35 wt.% of copolymer of alpha-olefins C₁₆-C₁₈ with maleic anhydride, 5-35 wt.% of copolymer of alpha-olefins C₂₀-C₂₄ with maleic anhydride, 5-30 wt.% of copolymer of alkyl(C₁₅)methacrylate with benzyl methacrylate, 10-45 wt.% of copolymer of alkyl(C₁₆)methacrylate with benzyl methacrylate, the rest is a copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of limiting temperature of fuel filterability and solidification.
