FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for finishing with loose abrasive of flat surfaces of parts in machine building and other industries. Proposed method comprises processing surface in abrasive processing chamber with abrasive medium and compacting abrasive medium by applying external pressure. Device is used, in which chamber is formed by inner conical surface of rotating rotor and processed flat surface of part, which is installed with clearance to rotor. Processing is carried out at movement of the device for abrasive processing with a rotating rotor along the processed surface of the part with loose abrasive, which is supplied under pressure through the axial hole of the rotor into the chamber with formation of a zone of compacted abrasive medium.
EFFECT: improving quality and efficiency of abrasive processing of flat surfaces.
