FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is intended for measurement and construction of hysteresis loops of thin ferromagnetic films. Device comprises a magnetic system consisting of Helmholtz rings connected through a current sensor to a low-frequency generator; two sensitive elements, including anti-series connected coils, placed in the centre of the magnetic system; differential amplifiers; digital integrators and digital oscilloscope. Coils of the first sensitive element are located along the axis of the magnetic system, and the second one – perpendicularly. Outputs of the coils are connected to differential amplifiers, which in turn are loaded to digital integrators. Digital integrators are connected to the vertical scan inputs of the digital oscilloscope. Output of the current sensor is connected to the input of the horizontal scan of the oscilloscope.
EFFECT: possibility to measure simultaneously longitudinal and transverse hysteresis loops of thin ferromagnetic films.
