FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment for converting linear acceleration into two frequency electrical signals. Linear accelerometer comprises a base with a casing, two identical sensitive elements arranged so that the direction of sensitivity of one coincides with the direction of acceleration, and the second was directed in the opposite direction, two systems of excitation and registration of oscillations, service electronics located in the inner cavity of the casing, and an electrical connector. Two sensitive elements are made in the form of identical string resonators, inertial masses and elastic suspensions. Sensitive elements and systems for excitation and registration of oscillations are combined into a two-component vibration-frequency differential acceleration converter fixed on the base on the side opposite to the casing. Service electronics is made in the form of two independent self-contained oscillators, which are regulators with positive feedback, located on separate boards, and is designed to control vibrations of the string resonator of each of the two sensitive elements separately in the autogeneration mode.

EFFECT: high accuracy of converting acceleration with high reliability of the accelerometer, high resistance to external destabilizing factors.
