FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy exercises, oncosurgery, and can be used in complex treatment of oncological patients as pre-rehabilitation before major operations on thoracic and abdominal cavity. Complex of therapeutic exercises consisting of an introductory, a main and a final part is carried out. Stages are carried out for 2 weeks before the forthcoming operation. Introductory part consists of respiratory gymnastics including 6 consecutive exercises. Main part consists of joint gymnastics in combination with vestibular exercises, which includes 8 consecutive exercises, cardiorespiratory training, which includes 9 consecutive exercises, general strengthening exercises, which include 8 consecutive exercises, and balance exercises, which include 4 consecutive exercises. Final part includes 2 consecutive exercises.

EFFECT: method provides more effective pre-rehabilitation of oncological patients due to the safety and feasibility of the complex for patients of different ages with the severity of the condition on the ECOG scale of 0–3 points, inclusion of joint and vestibular exercises in the complex, which supplement the postural control exercises, increase the effectiveness of the whole complex, promote early activation of the patients, as well as optimize the structure of the complex.
