FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for ion nitriding a friction pair part from alloyed steel. Surface of said part is prepared by feeding a positive electric potential from 250 to 290 V to said part located in a bath with electrolyte, applying a magnetic field to the entire treated surface of said part and conducting electrolyte-plasma treatment at temperature from 60 to 90 °C to form a microporous surface in the surface layer of said part. Electrolyte used is an aqueous solution of ammonium sulphate with concentration of 30.0-50.0 g/l and ammonium citrate with concentration of 3.5-12.5 g/l. Said part is heated to nitriding temperature of 410-420 °C. At nitriding temperature, holding is carried out for 10 hours.
EFFECT: increasing the wear resistance of the nitrided layer of parts made of alloy steels.
