FIELD: molecular biology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for genotyping a polymorphic locus rs139794067 (G>T) of the MYL3 gene by allele-specific PCR followed by electrophoresis of amplification products. Allelic variants are identified using forward and reverse primers: for the wild-type allele – SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 3, for mutant SEQ ID NO: 2 and SEQ ID NO: 3 respectively.
EFFECT: creation of a new allele-specific PCR, which enables to accurately and quickly identify a mutation NM_000258_3:c_170C>A (p_Ala57Asp) in exon 3 of the MYL3 gene.
