SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for treating patients with idiopathic inflammation of lachrymal ducts (IILD). That is ensured by conjunctival instillations of 0.1% dexamethasone 3 times day for 14 days and 0.05% cyclosporine A 2 times day for 1 month. Thereafter, spectral optical coherence tomography is used to assess the state of the boundary between the epithelium of the lachrymal duct and the underlying connective tissue, the thickness of the wall of the lachrymal duct, the thickness of the epithelium of the tarsal conjunctiva. Cyclosporine A is instilled until there is a clear boundary between the lachrymal duct epithelium and the underlying connective tissue, the thickness of the lachrymal duct wall is less than 95 mcm, the thickness of the tarsal conjunctival epithelium is less than 90 mcm. Then dexamethasone is instilled for 14 days.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of a personalized approach to the treatment of the IILD due to the objective assessment of the effectiveness of the IILD treatment with the corresponding selection of the further therapeutic approach.
