SUBSTANCE: disclosed is lathe tool (1), which does not interfere with other tools and can supply sufficient cooling liquid. Turning tool (1) includes: cutting plate (10), which is mirror-symmetrical relative to first and second symmetrical surfaces (M1, M2); and holder (2), which has first outlet hole (5) for supply of cooling liquid to first cutting edge (21E) of cutting plate (10) on the side of first front surface (21R). First outlet hole (5) is located between the second flat surface (32) and the first base surface (Vxz), which is parallel to second flat surface (32) and includes an edge line of the first cutting edge (21E).
