FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to sports and restorative medicine, and may be used for the recovery of the functional state of sportsmen’s lower extremities. Invention can be used in practice of sports medicine doctors, therapeutic physical training, orthopaedic traumatology, internists, physiotherapists, specialists engaged in medical activities, prevention and/or recovery and rehabilitation in the field of sports and restorative medicine. Course application of rhythmic peripheral magnetic stimulation is carried out on the apparatus BTL-6000 Super Inductive System Elite. What is used is a focused electromagnetic field applicator with a manual lumbar neuromuscular apparatus being involved. To achieve the most evident effect, the therapeutic course shall be no less than 5 procedures.
EFFECT: method provides improving the functional state of the nervous system and regulating the muscles of the sportsmen’s lower extremities ensured by the exposure to the electromagnetic field having certain characteristics and interacting with human body tissues.
