FIELD: molecular biology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molecular biology, molecular diagnostics and is a method for post-hybridization washing of a biological microchip, aimed at increasing the efficiency of methods for identifying single-nucleotide substitutions, such as clinically significant point mutations in the DNA of microorganisms or pathogenic variants in the human genome. Method for post-hybridization washing of oligonucleotide biological microchip involves incubation of biological microchip in distilled water at 37 °C for 2 minutes with subsequent incubation of biological microchip in ultrasonic bath in distilled water at room temperature at ultrasound power of not less than 0.02 W/cm2 and not more than 0.2 W/cm2 for 2-4 minutes.

EFFECT: implementing the method provides higher intensity of fluorescent signals of the microchip elements simultaneously with higher level of discrimination ratios between perfect and non-perfect hybridisation complexes.
