SUBSTANCE: what is described is a recombinant plasmid genetic construct pVEAL3-XBB.1.5 providing synthesis and secretion of the receptor-binding domain RBD S protein of SARS-CoV-2 variant XBB.1.5 in CHO-K1 cells having the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, comprising elements in accordance with the physical and genetic map presented in Fig. 1. Recombinant strain of cells of Chinese hamster ovary CHO-XBB.1.5 – producer of receptor-binding domain RBD S protein of SARS-CoV-2 variant XBB.1.5 – is obtained by co-transfection of said cells with recombinant plasmid pVEAL3-XBB.1.5 according to cl. 1 and plasmid pCMV(CAT)T7-SB100, encoding transposase SB 100.
