FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and enables to obtain exosomal vesicles (exosomes) of plants, particularly tobacco, which can be used in medical and cosmetic industry. Disclosed is a method for producing common tobacco exosomes, including preparation of starting material and its homogenisation, successive centrifugation in two steps, selection of liquid phase and its ultracentrifugation, suspension of the obtained plant exosome precipitate in a buffer and repeated ultracentrifugation under the same conditions; the starting material used is a biomass of a common tobacco callus cell culture.
EFFECT: invention enables to expand the range of the source material used, having more standardized properties, and also enables to obtain common tobacco exosomes with an average size of 100–300 nm; with a narrower range of values of surface charge (zeta potential), which contributes to increased homogeneity; with output of not less than 1.4 mg per 1 g of raw cell biomass used.
