FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: method of diagnostics of gears of kinematic pairs of rotary machines relates to diagnostics of defects of gears of rotary machines and can be used for evaluation of technical condition of kinematic pairs of rotary machines. Rotary machines kinematic pairs defects diagnostic method includes the signal reception, its processing until the narrow-band spectrum production with the step less than the investigated spectral component width, until its envelope smoothed shape obtaining, differs from known designs in that area under spectral component curve is calculated in the frequency band defined from left and right by points of intersection with selected level relative to maximum magnitude exceeding the level of vibration noise. Data obtained before operation of machines are subtracted from results of diagnostic measurements.

EFFECT: high accuracy and stability of the investigated parameter by eliminating the effect of the varying level of vibration noise from machine to machine.
