FIELD: rotary machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vibration monitoring of the technical condition of kinematic pairs of rotary machines. The method for diagnosing defects in kinematic pairs of rotary machines includes receiving a signal, processing it until a narrow-band spectrum is obtained with a step less than the width of the studied spectral component until its envelope shape is obtained. Next, the area under the curve of the spectral component is determined in the frequency band determined on the right and left at the points of its intersection with the vibration noise, and then the data obtained before the start of operation of the machine is subtracted from the result of the diagnostic measurement.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of defect diagnostics and accuracy of assessment of the state of the kinematic pair of rotary machines.
