FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology. After excising the tumour bed, gel with a photosensitizer containing chlorine-e6 is applied on the bed and kept on the bed surface for 20 minutes. Then it is removed from the surface with wet gauze tampons and photodynamic therapy is carried out with a total dose of 150 J/cm2, radiation intensity on the tissue surface of 260 mW/cm2 at wavelength of 660 nm, and then additional photodynamic therapy (PDT) is carried out with a total dose of 150 J/cm2, radiation intensity on the tissue surface of 125 mW/cm2 at wavelength of 405 nm.
EFFECT: method enables preventing recurrences and eliminating negative systemic phototoxic effects of the PDT observed in the patients after the intravenous administration of the photosensitizers.
