FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to an electrosurgical instrument, an electrosurgical unit and a method for electrosurgical exposure of biological tissue. Electrosurgical instrument comprises a connecting device for connection to a supplying apparatus, a shell with an end hole at the distal end, an electrode, a light guide device, blowing and exhaust channels communicated with connecting device. Electrosurgical unit comprises an electrosurgical instrument and a supply apparatus. Light-analysing device of the apparatus is optically connected to the light guide of the instrument. Supply apparatus voltage source is electrically connected to tool electrode for application of electric potential to it. Source of the blowing medium of the supply apparatus is interconnected with the blowing channel of the tool for supply of the blowing medium. Exhaust device of supply device is interconnected with exhaust channel of tool for removal of blowing medium. Electric potential is applied to an electrode of the electrosurgical instrument. Blowing medium is supplied to the blowdown channel and removed from the outlet hole into the flow cavity. Light is received through an input surface and the received light is directed to a light-analysing device. Blowing medium is discharged from flowing cavity through exhaust channel.
EFFECT: high efficiency of protecting the input surface of the light guide device from contamination.
