FIELD: coating under vacuum. SUBSTANCE: assembly 4 for introducing material has crucible 5 connected by means of heat-insulation ceramic gasket 6 to evaporators. The latter have grids which walls are heatable knife members 1 facing crucible 5 with their sharp ends. Members 1 have the form of rings placed in a concentric relation to each other and attached to outer cone 2 through heat conducting ribs 9. The rings present sharp ends to crucible 5. Ducts may have parabolic cross-section for increasing the degree of focusing steamflows. EFFECT: higher quality of coating, reduced waste of material under evaporation. 2 dwg
