SUBSTANCE: pulse shaper has generator 1, line 2 shorted out at output, line 3 open at output, load 4, switches 8 and 10, transmitting line 9. Introduction of n homogeneous lines 5 whose outputs are shorted out and inputs are connected in series with lines 2 and 3 provides for four-fold increase in power and four-fold decrease in pulse length across matched load.
