FIELD: high-voltage pulses generators production used as pulsed power sources. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage pulses generator has switchable and unswitchable lines of similar electric length, that have common high-voltage electrode and grounded electrodes. In the case, charger is connected to switchable line input. Short-circuited line with electric length equal to electric length of switchable line is connected to grounded electrodes from discharger side. From other side grounded electrodes loading is connected. High-voltage generator is distinguished for the fact, that to increase amplitude of formed on loading symmetric bipolar pulse-meander volume of short-circuited line has additional high-voltage electrode, that is connected to common high-voltage electrode of switchable and unswitchable lines from discharge side and divides short-circuited line for two in series connected lines of similar electric length equal to electric length of switchable line, wave impedances of lines determined from ratios: , with ρ1 - wave impedance of switchable line, ρ2 - wave impedance of unswitchable line, ρ3, ρ4 - wave impedances of correspondingly first and second connected to discharger lines formed with additional high-voltage electrode. EFFECT: high-voltage generator allows to increase amplitude of formed on loading symmetric bipolar pulse-meander.
