FIELD: local application of metal coating; mechanical engineering, radio and electronic industry. SUBSTANCE: central electrode 1 and interelectrode insulator 2 are located relative to circular electrode 3 at distance h taken from expression 0.1R < h < (R-r), where R and r are inner radius of circular electrode 3 and radius of central electrode 1. Owing to this, nonuniformity of current density distribution and energy liberation over radius of foil are reduced. This, in its turn, promotes more uniform destruction of foil 5 and homogeneity of formed explosion product. Use of Laval's nozzle 6 facilities further dispersion and final evaporation of liquid phase in vapor plasma flux. Installed on cut of Laval's nozzle is cylindrical attachment 7 whose walls are perforated. Presence of perforations contributes to equalization of the profile of explosion product velocities, improvement of their uniformity of deposition on substrate 8 and increase of area of coating uniform in thickness. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
