FIELD: production of synthetic superhard materials. SUBSTANCE: method for production of polycrystalline superhard materials includes placing of preliminary calcined diamond powder or mixture of diamond powder with powder of diamond containing polycrystalline material with particles sizing within 10-500 mcm and ash content of 0.5-20 mas. between layers of silicon powder; sintering at pressure and temperature within values non-impairing the stability of diamond lattice. Silicon powder, in this case, is preliminarily mixed with boron in the amount of 0.5-15 mas. and organic binder based on resol or novolac resin in the amount of 0.4-5 mas. and pressing in tablets.
