FIELD: organic chemistry, triazinoindole derivatives. SUBSTANCE: product: 3-(2-dimethylaminoethylthio)-8-methyl-1,2,4-triazino-[5,6-b] - indole dihydrochloride. Synthesis is carried out by reaction of 3-mercapto-1,2,4-triazino-[5,6-b] -indole with 2-diethylaminoethyl-chloride hydrochloride in an aqueous medium in the presence of NaOH. Base is converted to hydrochloride by concentrated hydrochloric acid action in ether. Yield is 31.5%, m. p. is 238 C, toxicity LD50 = 450 mg/kg, empirical formula is C14H17N5S•2HCl. New compound shows positive action on organism resistance to hyperthermia. In mice experiments, under conditions of superheating microclimate (+40 C) the use of new compound (10 mg/kg) increases survival up to 85% that exceeds bemithyl action.
