FIELD: seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: guide 5 is disposed inside case 1, provided with exhaust ports 2, overlapped by lock unit 6. Guide 5 is made to have point symmetry; the guide forms working, guiding and additional chambers 7, 8 and 9 correspondingly with the case. Start volume 17 is connected with electric pneumatic valve 4 by starting channels 13. Air is fed into control chamber 8. From this chamber air flows into internal and external volumes 10 and 11 correspondingly of working chamber 7. The volumes are connected by channel 12, made in guide 5. When the source operates, compressed air is advanced to start volumes 17 to edges of lock unit 6, which turns counter-clockwise and exhaust ports 2 are opened. In this case the signal is irradiated without large errors, and both halves of lock unit 6 are returned into initial position by acting air pressure in control chamber 8 onto internal protrusion 14 of lock unit 6. EFFECT: improved seismic efficiency due to reduction in error level. 2 dwg
