FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing vaccine preparations. The attenuated strain F. tularensis of non-arctic subspecies possessing high immugenicity is obtained. The strain is obtained by selection of streptomycin-resistant mutants of tularemia microorganism, the strain B-399 A-Cole of non-arctic subspecies. The prepared strain F. tularensis B-399 A-Cole Strr 2500/K is deposited in NIIEM named for N. F. Hamaleya at № 97. Using this strain for preparing live vaccine against tularemia virulent strains of non-arctic subspecies provides good protective effect based on its high immunogenicity.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of strain.
