FIELD: biotechnology, genetic engineering, recombinant microorganisms. SUBSTANCE: method involves insertion of the foreign chromosomal or plasmid DNA in the parent microorganism by methods of genetic engineering followed by selection by sowing recombinant microorganism on nutrient media. The parent microorganism is the strain Francisella tularensis subspecies holarctica R, VKPM B-6854. Method ensures to obtain virulence factors of protein and polysaccharide nature. By this method the following recombinant strains were obtained: Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica R55 VKPM B-6853 - a producer of virulence factor Fr. tularensis nearctica Shu, Fr. tularensis subsp. holarctica RN4, VKPM B-6855 - producer of virulence factor Ps. pseudomallei C-141, Fr. tularensis subsp. holarctica R1A VKPM B-6852 - a producer of virulence factor Fr. tularensis nearctica B-399 A Cole. Strains can be used for production of highly specific diagnostic, sera, chemical vaccines, immunomodulators and other preparations. EFFECT: improved method of preparing.
