FIELD: technical hydro-acoustics, namely, methods for noise and echo direction-finding.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on usage of phase difference of acoustic oscillations, received by antenna. After transformation of acoustic oscillations to electric oscillations, Hartley transformation of oscillations is performed by each one of N receiving channels. Then, their addition is performed across all channels at each one of frequencies of Hartley spectrum separately in the range of negative frequencies and separately in the range of positive frequencies. Deviation of bearing from target is formed using added signals separately by negative and separately by positive frequencies, while filtration is performed by means of folding of Hartley transformations.
EFFECT: increased precision of direction finding and decreased amount of computing operations with preserved resolution.
