FIELD: mechanical engineering; diffusion brazing of molybdenum and steel workpieces. SUBSTANCE: copper layer, thickness 15-20 μm is applied to surface of molybdenum part to be brazed and, steel part is coated with nickel layer of the same thickness. Brazing is carried out in furnace in vacuum of 1•10-2mm. Workpieces are heated at first at a rate of 15-20 C/min to 600±10°C and are held at this temperature for 25-30 min. Then heating rate is increased to 35-40 C/min and heating to 1000±10°C is carried out with subsequent holding for 30-35 min. Then temperature rate is reduced to 10-15 C/min and temperature is maintained at copper melting point. Brazing is carried out at temperature of 1130-1150 C for 15-20 min. EFFECT: improved serviceability of articles operating at temperatures up to 1300 C in aggressive media.
