FIELD: material for technical purposes. SUBSTANCE: stimulating agent is applied on the surface of carbon fibrous material. Said agent is prepared on the base of solution of haloid compound in organic solvent. Then haloid compound is dried and reduced to suitable element. The latter process takes place in hydrogen stream at 600-1273 K and pressure 0.25-13.5 kPa. Then covering of silicium carbide and threadlike crystals is precipitated, the process takes place at 1473-1673 K and pressure not more 13.5 kPa. Gas mixture of silicium tetrachloride, monosilane, methane, argon and hydrogen being used, ratio of components is 1: 20: 160: 180: 200-1: 10: 200: 200: 100. Ferrum, nickel, cobalt, antimony, bismuth, lanthanum, tellurium and silicium chlorides are used as haloid compounds. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method. 1 tbl
