FIELD: high-temperature techniques. SUBSTANCE: laminated filler is fabricated from carbon fibers by way of assembling alternating components of fiber structure, one component being a nonwoven material and the other knitted cloth at their ratio from 10:1 to 1:10. In order to obtain a heat-insulating material, vertical bundles of fibers are put with density 60-690 bundles per 1 sq.cm, whereas, to obtain heat-conducting material, they are put with density 300-600 bundles per 1 sq.cm. Nonwoven component for heat-insulating material is prepared from discontinuous carbon fibers, and that for heat-conducting material from discrete ones.
