FIELD: construction of railroad track. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a portal frame, a nut driver, mounted on the frame and having box wrenches, mounted on spindles with possibility of motion along them by action of power cylinders. Each box wrench has a body, a guiding cone and a knocking out member, coaxially mounted in the body with possibility of vertical motion. Each box wrench has on its end surface seats, uniformly spaced along a circle for placing into them spring-loaded cylindrical rollers, engaging with the knocking out member. A length of the seats is more than a length of the rollers; a diameter of the circle along axis of the rollers, is being determined according to an inequality, given in a description of the invention.
